Industries represented include the production of basic organic and inorganic chemicals, industrial gases, fertilisers, pharmaceuticals, soap and synthetic detergents, flavours and perfumes. The production processes, laboratories, research, materials handling, transport, workforce, publicity and environmental issues are also covered as topics in addition to ancillary industries such as makers of lab equipment and foundries producing specialist chemical plant and equipment.
