The museum has artefacts about local trades and industries; civic regalia; and a swinging butter churn believed to be a very early example and found in the wall of Liskeard Church. The local pilchard industry is represented by a pilchard press and photographs. There is also the town’s weights and measures and a collection of early flat irons.
