A collection of about 13,000 locally made and locally used items including artefacts, documents, photographs, prints, paintings, film and video and oral history recordings ranging from ancient times to present, covering and from Wallingford and the surrounding villages within a 6 mile radius. There are in total 60 agricultural, 3,000 archaeology, 200 archives, 10 arms and armour, 20 costume and textile, 50 decorative arts, 50 fine arts, 200 numismatics, 2,000 personalia, 5,000 photography, 1,000 science and industry, 1,000 social history and 10 transport items.
