Collection overview (Cornucopia)
Decorative and Applied Art Collection
The Chapel houses a specially commissioned life-size statue of St Chad, and colourful carved wooden panels depicting scenes from his life. As part of the restoration of the Chapel, Stockport MBC commissioned Kate Davies and Ian Hartless to create ‘The East Window’, which reflects both the histories of the Chapel and life in the local community at the end of the 20th Century.
