- Brief description:
- Charlotte Treadwin had the privilege of exhibiting her lace at the 4th London International Exhibition in 1874. Like all other exhibitors she received this medal made by George Morgan, after designs by Joseph Boehm and James Gamble.
On the obverse is a portrait bust of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales. On the reverse is a View of the Horticultural Society's arcades, gardens and conservatory with the Albert Hall and Memorial in the background.
This object is on display at RAMM in the Finders Keepers gallery.
