On the front on the invitation is the Rugby crest with the motto 'Floreat Rugbia'. Inside it reads: 'The Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors of the Borough of Rugby and the Directors of C. The dinner was hosted by the then Mayor, Alderman A.T. Green on May 23rd 1968. The menu is printed on white card in blue print, with gilded edges.
