- Painter. Son of distinguished painter Christopher Williams. Studied at the Central School of Art and Design followed by the Slade School of Art, University of London, where he won first prize for portraiture. He exhibited widely in prestigious solo and group shows in the UK, including the Royal Academy, the New English Art Club, the Royal Society of British Artists, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the Royal National Eisteddfod of Wales. He shared his father’s penchant for portraiture and large-scale figure compositions, devoting the majority of his time in his later years to working on large religious subjects. His works are housed in the National Museum of Wales, the National Library of Wales, Newport Civic Centre, Cyfarthfa Castle Museum, Bangor University, University of Wales Lampeter and Aberystwyth University.

- Photographer. After leaving school he served in the Second World War as a navigator in the RAF. He partook in 50 bombing raids in Europe until shot down in Norway in 1942 whereafter he was held for two and a half years in the prisoner-of-war camp Stalag Luft III. After the war he trained as a pharmacist and played rugby for Cardiff. From 1948 he became a partner in his father-in-law\'s chemist shop, Taylor Lloyd Ltd., in Aberystwyth. He was a member of the Aberystwyth Camera Club, serving as President from 1958, and photographed people, places and natural forms in and around Aberystwyth and also in South Africa. His autobiography, from 1939-1945, \'Up and Under\', was published in 1989 and the photo book \'A Stroll around the Harbour\' was published in 2004.
