- Brief description:
- Turret clock movement and face from Combe Martin Parish Church. Made in 1734 by Barnstaple clockmaker John Cole for £12. Workmen were then paid £5.10.1d to erect it including £1 for ale. The clock mechanism still keeps time very accurately and chimes every hour, however, the original clock face is no longer attached.
