He has also worked as an Archive Research Fellow at the British School at Rome. Crawford has exhibited with the 56 Group Wales and in 1985 he won the Gold Medal at the National Eisteddfod. His written research includes monographs on the photographers Mario Giacomelli and Erich Lessing. - Ceramicist. Hum studied craft at Indonesia Art Institute, Yogyakarta. He creates elaborate sculptural works and masks, often incorporating elements of dance into his presentations. Steeped in Indonesian traditional culture, Hum is at the same time very aware of contemporary life worldwide – his works, rooted in his homeland traditions, are thoughtful and intelligent, as well as very lively.
Alongside his ceramic practice he is currently lecturer in the Fine Art Department of the State University of Malang. In Hum’s own words, “generally, my artwork centres on ideas and forms from Indonesian local culture, which I use symbolically.†He demonstrated at the International Ceramic Festival at Aberystwyth in 2011, where he also performed a ceremonial dance wearing one of his masks.

- Printmaker and writer. Studied at Edinburgh College of Art, 1981-86, and the Tamarind Institute, Albuquerque, 1994-96. Taught at University of Ulster, 1990-94 and 1996-99. He currently teaches as Head of Printmaking at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. He has published the printmaking handbooks 'Stone Lithography' and 'Plate Lithography' (A.C. Black, 2001 and 2003). He produces semi-abstract drawings and lithographs often incorporating religious symbols

- Painter. Studied at Cardiff College of Art, 1962-64, and under Frank Auerbach (b.1931) at the Slade School of Fine Art, 1964-67, before attending Reading University, 1968-70. He taught at Liverpool College of Art, 1971-74. He was a member of both the Royal West of England Academy and the 56 Group Wales and his work is included in the collections of the National Library of Wales and of the National Assembly. He lived and worked in Deiniolen, near Bethesda in North Wales, where he painted expressive landscapes of Snowdonia often combining bright greens with dark, angular outlines
