His works are housed in the National Museum of Wales, the National Library of Wales, Newport Civic Centre, Cyfarthfa Castle Museum, Bangor University, University of Wales Lampeter and Aberystwyth University.

- Lord Stuart Rendel (1834-1913) was an industrialist and Liberal Member of Parliament for Montgomeryshire. He studied at Eton and Oxford and entered the Bar before becoming manager of the Armstrong gunnery company. He was a benefactor of the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, of which he was president between 1895 and 1913. He purchased land in Aberystwyth donating it as the site for the National Library of Wales
