- Painter. Son of distinguished painter Christopher Williams. Studied at the Central School of Art and Design followed by the Slade School of Art, University of London, where he won first prize for portraiture. He exhibited widely in prestigious solo and group shows in the UK, including the Royal Academy, the New English Art Club, the Royal Society of British Artists, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the Royal National Eisteddfod of Wales. He shared his father’s penchant for portraiture and large-scale figure compositions, devoting the majority of his time in his later years to working on large religious subjects. His works are housed in the National Museum of Wales, the National Library of Wales, Newport Civic Centre, Cyfarthfa Castle Museum, Bangor University, University of Wales Lampeter and Aberystwyth University.

In 1988 he studied with the Italian photographer Roberto Salbitani (b.1945) and in 1993 undertook a residency at St.David's Hall, Cardiff. He has travelled widely in India creating a body of work exhibited in 2000 as 'A Month in India' at the Goldmark Gallery, Uppingham, an exhibition which toured to the School of Art Gallery, Aberystwyth in 2001. He lives and works in Corby, Northamptonshire

- Painter and printmaker. Studied at Goldsmiths' College before serving in the Second World War. He taught at University College of Wales, Aberystwyth from c.1946 to c.1975. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and was awarded a British Institution Scholarship for Painting. He painted portraits and landscapes but suffered from limited vision in later life

- Curated by Paul Croft, the exhibition 'Contemporary Chinese Printmakers' is the second in a two-part exchange between Aberystwyth and Changsha and follows the successful showing of 界 Jie (Borders) - a joint-exhibition between Croft and Professor Lu Yu from Changsha Central South University, held earlier at Changsha Houhu International Art Park during May and June.
Comprising of over sixty prints by 29 printmakers and members of The Hunan Printmaking Association the exhibition also included prints by students from Changsha Central South University, Changsha Normal University and The Art School at Hunan University of Science and Technology.
