Polyester tie with diagonal stripes of red and green on black. On the front of the tie is the original badge of the Masonic Order of Athelstan, used from 2005-2006, a coat of arms incorporating the arms of the Moderns Grand Lodge on the left and emblems associated with Athelstan on the right and in the border, with a Plantagenet crown above.

The tie bears the badge of the Masonic Order of Athelstan that was originally designed in 2005, however this was opposed by various bodies, including the Royal College of Arms and, in 2006, the design was discontinued a new badge created.
