Ysbienddrych o eiddo R. Williams Parry. Ganed Robert Williams Parry (1884-1956) yn Nhalysarn, Dyffryn Nantlle. Gweithiodd fel athro cyn dod yn ddarlithydd yng Ngholeg Prifysgol Gogledd Cymru, Bangor yn 1922. Roedd yn fardd ac enillodd y gadair yn eisteddfod myfyrwyr Bangor am ei awdl 'Cantre'r Gwaelod' yn 1908, a chadair yn Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Bae Colwyn yn 1910 hefo'i awdl 'Yr Haf'. Cyhoeddwyd dwy gyfrol o'i farddoniaeth, Yr Haf a Cherddi Eraill' yn 1924, a 'Cerddi'r Gaeaf' yn 1952. Bu farw ym Methesda yn 1956. Binoculars belonging to R.Williams Parry. Robert Williams Parry (1884-1956) was born in Talysarn, Dyffryn Nantlle. He worked as a teacher before becoming a lecturer at the University College of North Wales, Bangor in 1922. He was a poet and won the chair at the Bangor students’ eisteddfod for an awdl on ‘Cantre'r Gwaelod’ in 1908, and the chair at the National Eisteddfod, Colwyn Bay in 1910 with the poem ‘Yr Haf’. Two volumes of his poetry were published, 'Yr Haf a Cherddi Eraill' in 1924, and 'Cerddi'r Gaeaf' in 1952. He died in Bethesda in 1956.
