- Postcard with a sepia photograph from the Greer's Real Photo Series showing the lytch gate in Long Lawford (probably for St. John's Church) The image shows a covered gateway with a pitched roof and two waist-height wooden gates. At the bottom is written in white: 'Lytch gate, Long Lawford'. On the back the card is addressed to Miss A.L. Loydall, Villa Dunedin, Tor Church Road, Torquay. It is post-marked Aug 16 1924 and has a red penny stamp with the head of the King. The message reads: 'Dear Auntie Aissie' Thank you very much for the postcards you have sent me. Grandpa liked the ponies, and I am minding him very nicely. I should like to have tea in the fields with you again. With lots of big kisses from little Joyce.'
