Brief description:
Horse show rosette, 1928. The Army regularly organised horse shows. These might include show jumping or dressage, but they also provided a means for British and Indian Army riders to exhibit their finest mounts. Prizes would be awarded for the best horses in a given discipline or breed. This rosette was awarded to Lieutenant-Colonel L R J C Wilkinson of the 5th Inniskilling Dragoon Guards at the Imperial Delhi Horse Show of 1928.
