Hanging device: Gold coloured metal shield with the Provincial Grand Lodge of Sussex coat of arms. This consists of the United Grand Lodge of England in coloured enamels with a band around the edge infilled with light blue and red enamels and twelve gold coloured birds. Above the shield is the text '2017' on the yellow background, which is surmounted by a banner infilled with dark blue enamel and bearing the text 'SUSSEX'.
