- Bronze coloured metal medal. On the obverse central to the design is a relief depiction of an altar standing on a chequered pavement. Surmounting this is a cushion with three gavels and a rope with tassled ends. On the side of the altar is a relief depiction of a set square and compass. Behind the altar is a sun with rays and beneath the chequered pavement, in the foreground, is a brick wall. Encircling this design is a border mounted by relief text reading 'SIEGEL DER GROSSEN FREYMAURER LOGE VON DEUTSCHLAND ZU BERLIN'. Around the edge of the medal is a triangle design border. On the reverse central to the design is a relief depiction of a set square and compass surmounted by relief text reading '1770-1970'. Encircling this is relief text reading '200-JAHRFEIER / 23.-25. OKTOBER 1970'. Encircling this is a chain border. Around the edge of the medal is relief text reading 'GROSSE LANDESLOGE / DER FREIMAURER VON DEUTSCHLAND'.
