Brief description:
Rectangular in cream silk with twill backing and a border made from four ribbons in bronze, green, red and black. The apron has a red flap with tricolour ribbon border in bronze, black and green. The flap is painted in gold with a jewel of the Ancient and Accepted Rite, 18th degree (Rose Croix) - a pelican in her piety framed by a compass and rule and surmounted by an eagle. The jewel is flanked on each side by a cross formy painted in gold. The apron itself is painted in colour and gold with an arch formed of Corinthian and Ionic columns and a tricolour arch with keystone within which is a stepped altar around which is entwined a snake and which is surmounted by the Bible opened at the Gospel of St. John. Three crowns are above and below and an All-seeing eye is over all. The arch is surrounded by numerous multi-degree masonic emblems painted in colour and gold. The apron has a two ties in crimson silk.
