Object name(s):
Phacops; laevis; Trimerocephalus; mastophthalmus/(Richter)
Brief description:
R. Kennedy has pointed out (23.09.1999) that at least one individual of the 4 has a detached and inverted cephalon, which apparently is characteristic of this sort of trilobite from this part of Devon. The other 3 specimens consist of a worn thorax and pygidium, just a cephalon and a thorax and pygidium. 3 of the trilobites are in dark grey slate matrix whilst the 4th is in a dark red slatey matrix.
