Top bar: Silver coloured metal bar with text in relief reading 'CENTENARY'. Ribbon: Ribbed silk in light blue, faded to green. Bottom bar: Silver coloured metal bar with text in relief reading '1865'. Hanging device: Open book ('Holy Bible') on which is a set square and compass, in silver coloued metal and relief. The book is on a five pointed sunburst in silver coloured metal and a Pythagorean (five pointed) star in light blue enmael. All is within a circular band of silver coloured metal, with text in relief reading 'LODGE OF / LIGHTS 148 / WARRINGTON / CENTENARY / 1765-1865'. Pin: Vertical.

Comments:
Lodge of Lights, No. 148 is one of a small number to have a non-standard centenary jewel. Prior to the mid 1860s lodges produced unofficial jewels for centenaries and those with existing jewels were allowed to continue them as a concession when a standard form was made compulsory.
