Comments:
Lodge of Amity is one of a small number to have a non-standard centenary jewel. Prior to the mid 1860s lodges produced unofficial jewels for centenaries and those with existing jewels were allowed to continue them as a concession when a standard form was made compulsory.
Comments:
Although the hanging device of this jewel bears the date 1869 (5869) it did actually celebrate its centenary in 1865.
