Top bar: Gold plated silver buckle bar. Ribbon: Ribbed and watered silk in light blue, faded to green. Hanging device: Three flowers in red and green enamel, behind a set square and compass in gold plated silver, pinned to disc of light blue enamel. The disc is encased within a decorative frame in gold plated silver with text in relief reading 'ROYAL CUMBERLAND LODGE No. 48 / CENTENARY 1833'. Pin: Vertical.

Comments:
Royal Cumberland Lodge is one of a small number to have a non-standard centenary jewel. Prior to the mid 1860s lodges produced unofficial jewels for centenaries and those with existing jewels were allowed to continue them as a concession when a standard form was made compulsory.
