Dorset Yeomanry badge, 1997-1999. The Dorset Yeomanry was formed in Bovington as an Armoured Replacement Regiment but was reduced to a single squadron (A Squadron, Royal Wessex Yeomanry) in 1999. Currently A Squadron develops armour replacement doctrine and supports the infrastructure of logistics units.
