Brief description:
SALVAS standard diving boots, pair
Collection:
Diving Museum
Comments:
Made by the Italian company Societa Anonima Lavorazioni Vari Appararecci di Salvataggio (SALVAS). Started as Societa Italiana Appararecci di Salvataggio in 1940 but later changed their name to SALVAS. My reference sources were the Diving Heritage and Divescrap websites. I would recommend that for insurance purposes they should be valued at £1000. (Peter Wingett.)
