Brief description:
Pair of gauntlets in dark blue silk with gold lace edging and gold fringe. On one side is sewn a roundel of dark blue silk. At the centre of the roundel is the device of a lyre in gold embroidery. Framing the device is a double border of gold purl featuring wreath of wheat and acacia, this encloses text at the top reading 'ESSEX' in gold purl.
