Brief description:
The hobby horse is made of laminated hardwoods treated with a clear sealant. It has a slightly S shaped body with the head at one end and a wheel at the other. Nailed to a slit which runs the length of the neck from the ears is a white horsehair mane and forelock. At the top of the neck through the wood is a round pine handle. The eyes are brown and black plastic while the mouth and nose are carved. The bridle, reins and bit are of black leather.
