- Stable condition following examination and conservation work carried out in 2024 by Joanna Whalley, funded by Costume Society Daphne Bullard Grant. Conservation work removed tarnishing and historic soap residue around the stones. Several gemstones have been reset and/or replaced over a long period. Plating on one of the chapes has been torn off.
