- Inscribed on reverse: '[...] of it up here. We have Bruce home with us again. When he landed at Riverford he went straight to Moreton for a week. Poor old chap, he is not up to a lot, but he has improved a good deal since he landed. He was not half pleased to get back again. As far as we know at present, there is no fixed date for our going to Moreton, but expect it will not be until August. Could I only get another job I would not go. But I adored [Forburghs] & did not get anything. I think before many more years I shall move off abroad. But I have not saved enough [...] yet. Now I must chase, with kindest regards to all. Thought perhaps you would like [...]'
