- Hackney Wick in East London is currently undergoing an ambitious , seven year programme of urban regeneration, brought about by the Hackney Wick 58B Partnership. The Hackney Wick Public Art Programme has been an integral part of that process. ensuring that artists, designers and local residente live a meaningful part to play in the regeneration of the area. After an intensive and productive five years, the Public Art Programme is coming to the end of its run. This publication brings together the diverse views, ideas and feedback of some of the people who have shaped it – and aims to convey their energy, insight and aspirations for a better Hackney Wick.
