- ‘Bradley Vale, Newton Abbot’ by William Spreat, c. 1850. The Devon landscape depicts a pathway running through the centre of a woodland. We see a horse with a red cart and two men: they are loading two felled logs onto the cart - a third log lies beside them. In the centre distance a white chalk cliff face is shown through a gap in the trees. This object is not on display.
