Pottery with cracked white glaze and blue transfer pattern of 'Peruvian Horse Hunt' (title on back); wide, slightly scalloped rim, 2cms deep base; back marked with blue stamp; possible from pottery founded by Alderman Shaw at Shaw's Brow, Liverpool in 1710; specialised in domestic ware and tiles, the former decorated with picture scenes.
