Printmaker and writer. Studied at Edinburgh College of Art, 1981-86, and the Tamarind Institute, Albuquerque, 1994-96. Taught at University of Ulster, 1990-94 and 1996-99. He currently teaches as Head of Printmaking at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. He has published the printmaking handbooks 'Stone Lithography' and 'Plate Lithography' (A.C. Black, 2001 and 2003). He produces semi-abstract drawings and lithographs often incorporating religious symbols
