Brief description:
Hand written letter by Reverend Paul Løgstrup, to Franz Xavier Erne, father of the soldier Kenneth Erne whos plane was shot down over Denmark in 1943. Describes the burial of Kenneth Erne and four of his comrades, the communication between Løgstrup and the Imperial War Graves Commission regarding Erne's grave, and the plans for the unveiling of the memorial stone at the crash site. Included on a second piece of paper is a handwritten copy of the speech Løgstrup made at the unveiling of the memorial stone in the graveyard. The letter is dated 25.11.1946.
