Brief description:
Late-18th century painted folding hand fan, possibly French, with watercolour images on either side, and struts with metallic filigree and mother of pearl inlay. Image on the obverse portrays a series of couples standing in classically-inspired architecture. Image on the reverse portrays a couple on a swing in a rural setting.
