Wide body; top half brown glaze; bottom cream glaze; front of jug with raised plaque with crown and 'VR'; on both sides raised pattern of spray of rose, thistle and shamrock; base imprinted with Regd. No. 59228 and 'Doulton Lambeth' and 'Oxford Street John Mortlock and Co. London'. Lip of jug broken. 1887 written below raised plaque.
