Top bar: Gold rectangle, marked ' VICESIMUS ' in white enamel. Ribbon: Light blue ribbed and watered silk, now faded to green. Ribbon device: Gold diamond marked ' 1895 ' in white. First hanging device: Enamelled gold in the form of a garter, marked ' CHISLEHURST LODGE No. 1531 ' in gilt. Within the garter is a shield bearing the arms of Canterbury impaling those of Kent - gold lion passant on red above three black choughs on gold and white horse invicta on red. Second Hanging device: Gold set square, engraved with foliage, from which is suspended the 47th proposition of Euclid on a blue ground. Presentation inscription: Reverse of second hanging device.
