Pin arian wedi ei ddifrodi ar un pen yn awgrymu ei fod wedi cael ei addasu o ddarn llygaid dwbl, 1) Double lenses, glass, for reading; cragen crwban o amgylchtortoiseshell surounds; hinged in centre, held by rounded silver headed pin; allows adjustment to fit face; one side with built in hole to allow cord to be attached. 2) Single lense, glass for reading; tortoiseshell surround and finger handle. Severed silver pin at one end indicates may have been adapted from double eye piece.
