Top bar: Gold coloured metal buckle bar. Ribbon: Ribbed silk in light blue, faded to green. Hanging device: Gold coloured metal oval plate with a design in relief depicting St. Alban enthroned in a pulpit with laurel growing on each side, and a perfect ashlar below. On the reverse is text in relief reading: 'S. Albano / INTER ANGLOS / ARTIS ARCHITECTONICAE / Clarifsimo Patriachae / COETUS / EJUS NOMINE DESIGNATUS / POST XX LUSTRA / FELICITER EXISTENS HODIE / DEDICARE GAUDET / PRID . KAL . FEB. / AL. VDCCCXXXI / AD. MDCCCXXVII', within a garter in relief and with presentation inscription. Pin: Vertical.

Comments:
St. Alban's Lodge is one of a small number to have a non-standard centenary jewel. Prior to the mid 1860s lodges produced unofficial jewels for centenaries and those with existing jewels were allowed to continue them as a concession when a standard form was made compulsory.
