Brief description:
Pierced and engraved gilt coloured metal plate jewel. Obverse, central to the design is a Pythagorean star surrounding a letter 'G'. Below this to the left is a moon and a set square. Surrounding the central design is a compass, which has a sun at the top and an imperial crown and there is a level at the bottom. On the level are the engraved initials 'M.S'. On the left arm of the compass above the moon is a gavel. On the right arm of the compass at the bottom is a trowel. The design is mirrored on the reverse and there is a hanging loop at the top.
