- H. J. May’s watercolour on paper with varnish finish depicts the view of Gandy Street from one of lower gallery windows of the Museum, Exeter (1926). May’s watercolour was completed whilst a student at the Art School which was then housed within the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. The study pays close attention to architectural detail and features.
