Top bar: Silver gilt foliage framing two red enamelled rectangles, marked ' W.M.' and ' 1944-45 ' in gilt. Ribbon: Light blue ribbed and watered silk. Ribbon device: Blue enamelled garter, marked ' HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE ', framing the arms of Prince Leopold- central shield of Saxony and blank three pointed label over the royal arms - three lions of England in 1 and 4, lion rampant and harp in 2 and 3. This is surmounted by a gold and red enamelled crown, surrounded by a blue and white banner, marked ' PRINCE / LEOPOLD / LODGE / No. 1588 ', in turn surmounted by a silver set square and compasses. Hanging device: Gold set square, engraved with stylised foliage, from which is suspended the 47th proposition of Euclid. Presentation inscription: Reverse of hanging device. Pin: Vertical
