- Hollow shield in silver coloured metal surmounted by a Pythagorean star (five pointed) and a hanging loop. Within the shield is a silver coloured arch with gilt keystone, standing on a gilt chequered pavement and with a silver coloured stepped dais and gilt pedestal. Within the arch is a gilt disc that partially turns on its horizontal axis. On the obverse is an engraved lamb on an open book and within the letters 'H. T. W. S. S. T. K. S.' and on the reverse is engraved the Ark of the Covenant with pick and shovel within a presentation inscription.

- The abbreviation 'H. T. W. S. S. T. K. S.' stands for 'Hiram the Widow's Son sent to King Solomon' and alludes to a biblical passage in II Chronicles on which the Mark ritual is based. However, this abbreviation also features in the ritual and design of Royal Arch Freemasonry in the U.S.A.
