Inscription description:

Fleetname: "LEEDS" is in fretwork at the top of the badge, surmounted by a curved band with a twisted design. Around the edge of the rest of the badge is a leaf design. "TRAMWAYS" is above the lower part of this design, curving upwards to match the curve of the edge. The print is in upper case and in two different font sizes.

Inscription description:

The employee number is affixed to the front of the badge, and appears to be clipped on; two pieces of metal are visible on the reverse side for each number.
