- This apron was made during the siege at Ladysmith (Second Boar War) that took place from the 2nd November 1899 and the 28th February 1900. It was used by Bro. Lieutenant Colonel John Henry Lang Sims in the Klip County Lodge, No. 2401. Lodge meetings were conducted when under fire from the enemy.
