Brief description:
Gold coloured metal badge partially infilled with coloured enamels. Central to the design is the Somerset civic coat of arms, consisting of a gold coloured metal shield with a dragon holding a sceptre. This is on a square matt gold coloured metal background. Around the edges is a border that is infilled with light blue enamel and divided into eight unequal sections. In the four corners are gold coloured metal tassels. In the top section is text reading 'SOMERSET' and in the bottom section is text reading 'M.B.A'. In the sections to the left and right are two gold coloured metal columns with terrestrial and celestial globes on the top.
