Silver coloured metal medal. On the obverse is a relief set square and compass enclosing the letter 'G'. To the left is a relief plumb rule, to the right is a level, below is a rule overlaid by a gavel and trowel crossed in saltire and above is an All-seeing eye with rays. On the reverse is relief is relief text reading 'MADE A MASON / IN / LODGE NO. / ENTERED / PASSED / RAISED'.
