Section of flat winding rope, used to conduct electricity form Cannock Chase Colliery No.2 ( The Fly) to St Anne's Church, Chasetown, the nearlby school, the coal manager's house and surface workings of the coal mine. The rope was encased in bricks ( see 2016.0036.00002-00008) to form a cable duct.
