- This rare butterfly is a female Queen Alexandra's birdwing, named after King Edward VII of England’s wife. The females are the largest butterflies in the world with a wing span of nearly 30cm! This one was collected in Papua New Guinea. This object is on display at RAMM in the Fly on the Wall gallery.
