Oval shaped gold plated silver jewel with a centre of transluscent dark blue enamel, on which is a gold plated silver semi circular protractor. The border of the jewel is matt with polished trim and text in polished relief reading 'EGYPT & THE SUDAN'. The fitted box is in dark red leather with cream lining.
