Top bar: Shaped bar in gold plated silver, surmounted by a relief foliage design, and infilled with dark blue enamel with text reading 'FOUNDER'. Ribbon: Ribbed and watered silk in cream, faded. Hanging device: Gold plated silver raised disc painted in colour enamel with three male figures binding a fasces. Around the scene is a border of dark blue enamel with text reading 'UNITED STRENGTH CHAPTER / No. 228'. The disc is pinned to a Seal of Solomon (six pointed, two interlocking triangles) in gold plated silver and infilled with red enamel (only points visible). Between each of the points is a design of a rose, thistle and shamrock, in gold plated silver and relief. Pin: Vertical.
